2021 AD Beckham Amphora Blanc

Located in the in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, the Beckham Estate was founded in the early-to-mid 2000s by a couple who originally had their hearts set on opening a ceramics studio. Today, they're the foremost producer of amphorae in the US. Inspired by Elisabetta Foradori's choice of winemaking vessel and combining Andrew Beckham's background as a ceramics artist and ceramics professor, has brought an even greater renown to their amphorae production. Amphora Blanc is indeed fermented and aged in their class-leading, hand-crafted terra-cotta amphora and is a too-many-to-count blend of Auxerrois, Ehrenfelser, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Scheurebe, Sylvaner, Viognier and Riesling. The results are bone dry, crisp and refreshing with notes of lemon, lime, peach, yellow apple and a light floral aromatic. Complex and contemplative wine with intensity and depth.
2021 Folk Machine Jeanne d'Arc

From Kenny, founder of Hobo Wines/Folk Machine: "The Jeanne D’arc has always been a confessed project. We like orange wines and want to make them and drink them and encourage our customers to do the same. They are funky and hard to swing people around to, but we feel strongly that they have their place and offer a complexity that is hard to match. The skins bring in a savoriness and pseudo minerality as well as a texture and mouthfeel that is unique, but also fun and food friendly. The lack of SO2 during aging lets the wine work itself out naturally, usually oxidizing a bit, but ultimately reaching a balance of acid and phenolic composition that suits itself."
An orange wine of 100% Chenin Blanc with a highly aromatic sense of pear, melon and chamomile tea. On the palate, there's fleshy yellow plum, almonds - from the slightly oxidative winemaking - and a hint of sea spray. This is definitely a bit funky but bone-dry and exciting! Pairs perfectly with seafood and pasta or seafood pasta.
2021 Domaine de L'Enclos À L'Est Chablis

The estate is a beautiful and large walled property in the heart of Chablis. Here, they built a gravity-fed, low-energy cellar. Today, the Domaine is an area of 39 hectares of vines, of which 6 are certified organic. Fresh, energetic and textured. Bright acidity, generous mid-palate and layered. Meyer lemon and flinty minerality with a vivid salinity at the heart of the wine. Crushed rocks and oyster shells galore. This is zero-zero Chablis. No sulfur added throughout the process. Pair with oily fish, grilled seafood, hard cheeses and curious palates.
