Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara
A gorgeous mix of Gewurz, Riesling and Gamay from the Twenty Mile Bench in Niagara. Straight from the mouth of the PGV horse: "The Gewurtz saw 10 days of skin maceration, but we tried to be more gentle with the extraction this time. The floral character that we all love from Gewurtz is still very much present, but a little softer, a littler rounder. The Gamay was macerated on its skins for 7 days, with gentle pushdowns and pump-overs and has a beautiful red fruit character. The Riesling was direct press and barrel fermented and aged (neutral oak always and forever). We blended them all together to give you the magic that is Afterglow."
