Cinque Campi, which means five fields, is a reference to the five original vineyards this project started with. Vanni Nizzoli’s family has been making wine in this location for over 200 years now. Vanni works all the parcels organically and works with very small concrete tanks to keep fermentations cool. Vanni adds no sulfur to any of the wines, and disgorges every bottle.
2019 Cinque Campi Particella 128
Traditional method Spergola - 9 months on lees. Particella 128 is a sparkling wine that is characterized by a fresh, savory and full of character drink. The nose expresses delicate floral, fruity and citrus aromas, with mineral notes. mouth is fresh, lively, with good flavor, which makes it alive with excellent drinkability.
2019 Cinque Campi Rosso Lambrusco
Blend of Lambrusco Grasparossa 85%, Malbo Gentile 10%, Marzemino 5% hand harvested and destemmed, and primary fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank. After about 6 months the wine is transferred to bottle for secondary fermentation. Serve slightly chilled and feel those bubbly, crunchy, cherry drops kiss the cheeks. Perfect lunchtime red fizz :)
2016 Cantina Furlani Naturale Metodo Interrotto Brut Nature
The Furlani Wine Cellar is young and dynamic, a successful combination of tradition and avant-garde. Production remains totally handicraft and within it all the delicate stages of winemaking take place. The farm has an extension of several hectares of vineyard, plots reaching to 720 meters altitude, some on the slopes of Vigolana and other on the hills above the city of Trento; from those lands and their grapes we obtain natural, simple, refined and strong personality wines. Grapes cultivated and vinified with passion, always respecting nature, environment and animals.
Metodo Interrotto Brut Nature is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero vinified using champenoise method (24 months). The bubbles are fine and moussey, floral aromas of elderflower, citrus and lemongrass. Dry but not completely – vivid freshness that evolves to a fine and round finish. Elderflower, citrus, green apple and apricot.
