2020 Chateau Laballe Terres Basses

The Laballe Estate is located on a rare terroir: the tawny sands, famous for the production of Armagnac. The vines cover 17 hectares on clay and light soils. The history of the estate began in 1820 when the family acquired the château. The wine is made from three grapes—Colombard, Ugni Blanc (a.k.a. Trebbiano Toscano), and Gros Manseng. Imagine the ripest, juiciest yellow grapefruit or pomelo that you can. The freshest piece of fruit with no bitter or pithy elements. If this sounds appealing to you, then buy this bottle immediately! 2021 Heliocentric Wines Same River Twice Rosé

The 2021 Rosé is a classic blend of Cinsault and Grenache, in a 55/45 proportion. Cinsault is similar to Grenache but lighter and juicier. Cinsault brings out a raspberry, peach and citrus fruit vibe, while Grenache offers herbes de Provence, strawberry, red cherry fruit and depth. The wine is dry, light to medium-bodied, 12.5% ABV and with a touch of tannin to support light dishes and grills. It's a clean, persistent, feel good wine. This is the second vintage of rosé produced by Heliocentric and it's got vibes babyyyyyy!
2020 Domaine Les Enfants Sauvage "Enfant Sauvage"

The name of the winery is a combo tribute to the original name of the vineyard and to The Doors and Jim Morrison. The vineyard, originally named "Domaines des Portes", made them think of The Doors (portes = doors in French) and brought them to the song Wild Child aka Enfants Sauvage. A blend of Carignan, Grenache and Mourvèdre coming from five vineyard sites, Mourvèdre and Grenache are vinified together with the late-ripening Carignan vinified separately. This is savoury, spicy, juicy, full of umami, star anise, thyme and tobacco on the nose with a palate full of ripe cherry, red currant jam, juicy plum and a hint of anise/liquorice. Soft, nearly imperceptible tannins with balancing acidity melt away into a smooth, light finish. Drink with charcuterie, roasted chicken or grilled beef kebabs.
