2020 Domaine de la Femme Allongée Cuvée Camprigou
Saint-Chinian, Languedoc, France

Mont Caroux in Saint-Chinian is nicknamed “La Femme Allongée” or “The Elongated Woman” because of its noticeable shape that can be seen from the Mediterranean Sea. This young estate started in 2007 by Jean-Paul, with vineyards growing in the shadow of the mountain on parcels of limestone and red clay. Before becoming Domaine de la Femme Allongée, Bruno Gracia operated Domaine de Tabatau. A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mouvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault. Long macerations, blending the free-run juice with the pressed juice and aged in tank creates a wine with a perfumed nose of red fruit and a surprisingly fresh palate with black pepper and the herbal garrigue the south of France is synonymous with. Pair with cassoulet, braised veal or beef stews, dry-aged burgers, grilled wild boar sausages or enjoy with cured saucisson sec and hard cheeses.
2019 Las Dos Ces Tinto
Valencia, Spain

Bobal is a dark-skinned grape native to Utiel-Requena, in the Valencian province, that is well suited to creating fruity wines with soft tannins. Although the grape can be quite rustic, this interpretation is elegant and fresh. Fruit-forward nose of black plum, strawberry, anise, black cherry, tobacco and a hint of red pepper. Subtle tannins with bright pops of acidity leading to a lengthy, velvety finish. A light chill is best for this gorgeous red ideally paired to some fun backyard bbq.
2020 Skurnik Wines The Pinot Project
North and Central Coast California

The Pinot Project began in 2009 with a vision: a wine for the palate, the pocket, and the people. Michael and Harmon Skurnik reached out to their friends in California’s Coastal Regions to help them craft a silky, fruit-forward, and well-balanced Pinot Noir. The Pinot Project is now widely recognized as one of the best wine values in the world. Named by Shanken’s Impact as a “Hot Prospect” brand in 2018 and 2019, the wines consistently score above 90 points from major wine publications.
Deep garnet in colour with aromas of pomegranate and baking spice. Balanced on the palate with notes of dark cherry, blackberry and cacao with a smooth, lingering finish.
