This Mixed Grill of Summer Bangers is 100% crushable JOY! Nothing but the hits!

This 6 pack contains 1 bottle of each wine:

2019 Salcheto, Rosso di Montepulciano
Tuscany, Italy

This is a fully organic estate with serious commitments to sustainability across the entire production spectrum. Unlike many of their neighbors in Tuscany, this winery does not use oak in the aging process for this classic Sangiovese blend. Instead, they focus on a low-intervention winemaking philosophy which is used to achieve a very fresh, fruit-forward red with bright pops of cherry and violets. Well-balanced, medium-bodied and smooth with beautiful and typical Sangiovese acidity. Bright crunchy cherries and herbaceous bright notes.

2019 Artuke Tinto Generico
Rioja, Spain

While Artuke have several prestigious single-vineyard wines, this is one of their “village” offerings which expresses simplicity and terroir at its finest. The palate is dominated by fruitiness with touches of florality and minerality intertwined with fresh strawberry and raspberry flavours. There’s a nice nudge of acidity here with a softer, medium finish. Undeniably fresh and easy-drinking.

2020 Paradise Grapevine Whole Cluster Heartbreak Pinot Noir
Niagara, Ontario

The Pinot Noir of Our Dreams! Grapes sourced from legendary Ed Hughes. Think cran-raspberry ocean spray gluggable pinot noir! Whole cluster ferment in stainless steel for a week. Juice drawn from the bottom of the tank and poured over the clusters about twice a day. Pressed into a single barrel for elevage. Hand-bottled, with only 15 cases produced. Very delicate fruit character. The fruit is reminiscent of like a german style pinot in the confected cherry range, and very classic earthy, forest floor vibe as well. Light bodied and high acid.

2019 Federico Artico Stardust Lazio Bianco
Lazio, Italy

Stardust was born in 2016 with Federico’s desire to experiment with a blend of all white grapes that ultimately became a tribute to the recently deceased genius, David Bowie. 50% of the blend comes from slightly overripe Sauvignon grapes and, for the remaining 50%, a blend of Trebbiano and Malvasia Puntinata - a blend typical of the Castelli Romani area. This hand harvested tenacious white is a fresh and delightful wine, with notes of crisp apple, lemon and mineral.

2018 Casa de Cello, Terroir Mineral
Amarante, Portugal

Vinho Verde is located within the Minho region of northern Portugal, the largest wine producing region in the country. Quinta de San Joanne is located in the Amarante sub-region of Vinho-Verde. The 2018 Terroir Mineral is a testament to its name. On the nose, you’ll find subtle hints of under ripe pear, yellow apple and stone. The palate is encompassed by racy acidity, with notes of fresh apples, citrus, saline and stone. Crushable factor = 10.

2016 Quebrada Del Chucao Barrel Aged Cider
Valle Del Tolten, Chile

Garagiste unique cider from Tolten Valley in Chile - a picturesque region of extinct volcanoes, lakes and forests, with a continental climate also home to a patchwork of old apple groves established by postwar European settlers. Rivera sources his apples from a roster of three core growers where the short, low yielding trees are aged between 50-80 years old and have always been managed organically. In lieu of specific varietal identification (which is now underway), the apple cultivars carry local names like Gravenstein, Alvarado and Roja Chica – the latter a small, tannic variety Rivera uses for structure. Quebrada del Chucao has also started to plant the Nahrwold farm with massale selections from the finest material. Production is tiny with less than 300 cases. Bottle fermentation gives their ciders super fine/soft bubbles, with some apple sweetness on the palate, but the finish is dry with excellent texture from the apple tannins. This ‘Barrel Aged’ cider has spent some time in oak barrels giving the cider more complexity and a slight hint of vanilla.
