This 3 pack contains one bottle of each wine:
2019 Pirineos Principio Moristel
A bangin’ natural red made from a rare grape varietal which is native to the northern Spanish region of Aragón. There are only a handful of wines made fully from Moristel and this one also happens to be a limited production. This red is full of juicy fruit characteristics alongside hints of sweet spices and vegetal undertones. Superb texture and naturally high acidity round out this wildly delicious and easy-drinking offering. Glug glug y’all… Delicious as an aperitif with a slight chill, or paired with grilled hot dogs (all beef or veggie, dealer's choice), spicy Spanish chorizo, chicken stew braised in red wine.
2019 Las Dos Ces Tinto
Bobal is a dark-skinned grape native to Utiel-Requena, in the Valencian province, that is well suited to creating fruity wines with soft tannins. Although the grape can be quite rustic, this interpretation is elegant and fresh. Fruit-forward nose of black plum, strawberry, anise, black cherry, tobacco and a hint of red pepper. Subtle tannins with bright pops of acidity leading to a lengthy, velvety finish. A light chill is best for this gorgeous red ideally paired to some fun backyard bbq.
2020 Artuke Tinto Generico
Carbonic Maceration, a winemaking technique made famous in Beaujolais, is used in the production of this wine. After harvest, the whole clusters of grapes are fermented in a carbon dioxide rich environment which results in intensely fruity wines with low tannins. The palate is dominated by fruitiness with touches of florality and minerality intertwined with the fresh strawberry and raspberry flavours. There’s a nice nudge of acidity here with a softer, medium finish. Undeniably fresh and easy-drinking. Pair with pastas; marinated, grilled chicken dishes; creamy tomato risotto; or, a plate of roasted vegetables and wild mushrooms.
