Terre Siciliane IGT
Perricone is primarily found in Western Sicily, where it historically was used to add colour and texture in blends with Nero d'Avola. If your brain likes a good comparison, think of this as Sicily's version of Barbera, with its robust fruit notes, noticeable tannins, dark pigmentation and this sort of lingering sensation of spiciness. From organically farmed grapes, this shows as juicy and smooth, with the delicate winemaking touch bringing forward tart red fruit notes, plush texture and light phenolic bitterness.

His wines weave a family tradition that has lasted for generations in a contemporary and sought wisdom in the art of making wine. It comes from a deep and thorough knowledge of the Sicilian lands. Vito is a master of organic farming and distinguishes himself from other producers in his region by his approach, which allows him to deliver wines that are incredibly well balanced. These wines have distinctly Sicilian characteristics and are intended to be healthy with minimal intervention in the cellar.
