The Pasajera comes from the 25 year old La Secca vineyard located near Valladolid - the best terroir in the Rueda where without doubt the most beautiful Verdejos' come. Hand harvested Verdejo fermented with only the free run juice. Racked by gravitational force and aged on it's own lees for 6 months in stainless steel. What immediately stands out is the great acidity. Passion fruit and citrus aromas. Crisp and tenacious, with bright citrus acidity. Lime and orange-peel, stony finish. Like licking a juicy, citrusy rock - delicious.
