AOC Minervois
A blended cuvée of 50% Syrah and 50% Grenache, from old vines grown organically and planted at 400 metres altitude on schist and clay-limestone soils. Although Benjamin takes a low-intervention approach to his wines, they retain a very classic style and approachability. Lightly overripe dark fruits are revealed, alongside dark chocolate shavings and light notes of delicate spices. There's power in this wine but a velvety finish, with the intensity contrasted by great freshness.
Perfect with pork and grilled vegetables.
