California, USA
Sonoma Valley AVA
Sunshine, substance, and just a touch of wood, but nothing heavy nor fat. The wine has a lovely bright palate, fresh and mineral driven core, with complex aromas of tropical fruit and toast, well integrated into a lively, rich and layered finish.

Kenny Likitprakong has gone from being a former pro skateboarder to a hard-working student of viticulture and oenology over the past ten years. In between... a lot of mezcal in Mexico, a few stays in Europe and others in South America. He ended up settling in Sonoma, a return to his roots in a way, because that's where he grew up. This isn’t too surprising as a son of a winemaker, he watched his father make wine throughout his childhood. In 1998, he produced his first wine.
Kenny’s wines tell a story. They are a testimony to a place. The vineyards where the grapes come from are all managed according to a sustainable development philosophy. They all follow the principles of sustainable, organic, or biodynamic agriculture. Although he uses modern techniques, he advocates a minimum of intervention in the winemaking process - all unfiltered and unfined - and he favours the indigenous yeasts of each vineyard. That and a colony of yeasts that have developed over time in his cellar have, of course, influenced the identity of his wines.
