Beaujolais, France
Beaujolais Blanc AOP
This is 100% Chardonnay, farmed organically and biodynamically, with a medium-bodied and mineral-driven outline. The fruit tends towards the citrus family, leaning somewhere between tart lemon zest and sweet lemon pulp with hints of pear and white nectarine too. There's loads of minerality on this, as most Beaujolais Blanc tend to give, with some strong white floral expressions leading through to a refreshing jolt of racy acidity. In a word: pretty.
Pair with seafood for a gorgeous weeknight combo or some sour cream and onion chips for a low-key weekend movie night.
