Vin de France
Same River Twice Vin de France Rosé 2021 comes from the same terroir and is in the same style as their red wine; pure, refreshing and easy drinking.
It's from the beautiful, historic wine region of the Ventoux, near Gigondas and Vacqueyras. It's a landscape of hills and mountains, wild Provençal herbs that perfume the air, pine woods, lavender, olive trees, vines and beautiful light. The dry, sunny Mediterranean climate is perfect for growing grapes.
The 2021 Rosé is a classic blend of Cinsault and Grenache, in a 55/45 proportion. Cinsault is similar to Grenache but lighter and juicier. Cinsault brings out a raspberry, peach and citrus fruit vibe, while Grenache offers herbes de Provence, strawberry, red cherry fruit and depth. The wine is dry, light to medium-bodied, 12.5% ABV and with a touch of tannin to support light dishes and grills. It's a clean, persistent, feel good wine.
This is the second vintage of rosé produced by Heliocentric.
