Delmoro Tinto comes from vineyards near the village of Venta del Moro between 15 and 50 years old. The Garnacha that makes up 60% of the blend comes from a 4ha single-vineyard called Guindal planted in 1987. Bush-trained, old-vine Syrah and Bobal make up the remainder of the blend.
This is full-bodied with warm, ripe fruit notes of plump cherry, jammy cranberry, juicy blueberry, clove, pepper and Mediterranean herbs. Some very light notes of purple flowers and aged balsamic on the finish. Full-bodied but sensuous and supple on the palate. Very easy-drinking.
