2022 Camp Chardonnay
North Coast California
Sunshine, substance, and just a touch of wood, but nothing heavy nor fat. The wine has a lovely bright palate, fresh and mineral driven core, with complex aromas of tropical fruit and toast, well integrated into a lively, rich and layered finish. Excellent with lightly grilled seafoods, Middle Eastern salads or fried (but not greasy!) bites.
2022 Camp Cabernet Sauvignon
North Coast California
A medium-bodied interpretation of Cali Cab, expressing ripe red and dark fruits, cocoa, tobacco and spice. The acidity is prominent with the tannins offering some grip and tension but quite gentle and soft. The structure is excellent and the quality of the fruit is vivacious and exciting. In its price tier, this a really beautiful take on Cali Cab that steps away from the super-powered, over-oaked behemoths that punch your palate into pieces. Best with southern BBQ, grilled kebabs, marinated and grilled petite filet or charcoal grilled chicken.
2023 Folk Machine White Light
California AVA
A mix of delicate citrus, groovy orchard fruits, beeswax and sea salt spray with a freshness and zippy acid that fulfills Kenny's fundamental concept for this wine. It's light and breezy but has subtle mineral complexity too. Really unique blend of grapes for this from a notably talented new-age winemaker. Serve well-chilled and enjoy with creamy fettuccine pasta, Greek takeout or some seafood, either raw or lightly cooked.
