Fruili, Italy
Lavinia and Alessandro traveled the Loire and Italy in search of their own style and eventually found that they were preferred the very mineral and very long-aging wines produced in the most natural way possible, with indigenous yeasts and spontaneous fermentation. The Villa Job vineyards (6.5ha) are located in Friuli Pozzuolo, 90 meters above sea level where the soils range from sandy, sandy-sil, clay, sandstone and marl.
Organic farming; zero additions, not even SO2.
This 100% Refosco from is a natural, unextracted cuvée that's herbaceous and lemony with notes of raspberry, cooked plum, and pretty aromas of dried flowers. On the palate, it has great acidity, like that of plump raspberries, and present, structured tannins. A mouthful of great freshness, similar to the winter wind during a lovely day on the slopes.
