Savoury Sicilian Nerello Mascalese, organically farmed on clay and calcareous soils. A bright and earthy red fermented and aged in stainless steel to preserve its freshness. Wild plums, cherry, rhubarb, fresh nutmeg and dried oregano with warm Italian tannins that tug at your sleeve & brisk red currant acidity.
Try it with a classic dish of caponata or venture into duck confit, moussaka or pork meatballs agrodolce.
