Sicily, Italy
Vito Lauria is a master of organic agriculture. His wines weave a family tradition that has lasted for generations in a contemporary and sought wisdom in the art of making wine. It comes from a deep and thorough knowledge of the Sicilian lands, but also from the creative ability to reach excellent combinations (and never dared) between the grapes.
This rosato is dry, zesty & lightly floral with a lovely bit of complexity. Sicilian grape Frappato brings whimsical, perfumed fruit while Nero d’Avola brings depth. Cold macerated and aged for 8 months in tank, think fresh notes of grapefruit pith, white raspberry, canned peach parfait & dried rose petals with a tangy, crisp finish.
